I brought in a JRX 225 out of Tuscaloosa for repair. First of all, not only was that the best customer service I've received in years, but this guy took one look at it and gave me a "Yea I can fix that in 45 minutes for $200", to which I ecstatically accepted. I was expecting a few weeks turnaround, but no - they have very common parts in stock so they can install replacements at a moment's notice. If you have a busted speaker, take it to this place! Even calling them to ask their hours and a few questions was very pleasant - I didn't get the "get off the phone" vibe. I'd give this place more stars if I could.

I had taken out a blown sub in my girlfriend's 4Runner and needed to replace it. So I Googled speakers for a 2006 Toyota 4Runner and saw Dixie Speaker Repair near me in Trussville, AL. I decided to go by and get an estimate on the repair since there are only a few aftermarket subs that will fit in the stock enclosure, and most are expensive. The owner quoted me $55 for the repair! Had it repaired that day, but the glue for the foam had to dry for 48 hours. No problem at all. Got the sub back and it looked great, like brand new! Installed it back in her 4Runner and it sounded amazing! I would definitely recommend Dixie Speaker Repair for anyone who wants to save some money and repair the speakers they have for cheap.

They did a fantastic job replacing deteriorated suspension foam on my vintage Altec Segovia's. GREAT JOB.

The People at Dixie Speaker are the real deal. They understand the needs of a professional sound guy and helped me keep my rig up and running for years. If your woofer don't woof, or your tweeter don't tweet, go see Dixie speaker. They specialize in all things speaker! Even those Unicorn drivers for just that guy! They can fix them if they are broken.

hey y'all, pls update times open on Google Maps, thank you! this is and has always been the best place to go for older or vintage speaker repair. and some for sale up front. been a customer since '95. always beyond reasonable prices with perfection in repairs. thank you Dixie, my EV's sound great!

I cannot express too highly what a great bunch these guys are! I brought in a pair if woofers and mid-range components for a vintage set of AR Speakers and they were very knowledgeable about what I brought and appreciated the work. They were quite friendly and helpful, even recommending pitching the unknown cones I brought in for theirs (actually, they wouldn't use them as the quality was unknown), when I happily did. The work was done as predicted. I cannot be any happier!

Did not have a chance to use these guys but they came highly recommended. Went down there explained my situation and they were professional enough to say hey, that's not something we do but call this other company instead. I appreciate when a company is honest like that and will give a referral to someone who's better suited for specific situation or problem. Will definitely keep their business card in hand for future use. Thanks so much!

Great service! The guys here worked on my uncle's 40-year-old A.R. cabinet speakers without hesitation, and now they sound like brand new. These speakers are not easy to work on, and they had to fabricate new parts where replacements were not available. Their experienced tech did a solid job!
